00:00 - Where does your passion for science come from?
02:24 - When did you know you wanted to pursue quantum mechanics?
04:14 - Would you consider yourself to be a good student?
04:51 - What was the reaction people had to your theories?
07:20 - Did you find people who supported your work? How did you do so?
08:54 - What was the hardest part of getting people to pay attention to your work?
10:35 - What advice would you give to a student or young researcher?
11:07 - How do you see science? Why do you think science is so special?
13:48 - What qualities do you need to be a successful scientist?
14:39 - What has sailing taught you as a scientist?

Fascinating man, I thought that what he was trying to prove and then did, was accepted in the physics community, just not yet proven. I now realize what an uphill battle he had in his path. He reminds me of what I know of my distant cousin, Sir James Chadwick. Stubborn, brilliant and capable. And now a Nobel Prize winner as well.

When a person is honest and passionate then, I believe this must be an image of it. His voice is much caressing to the ear, and the smile is soothing. Not much fame like movie stars but they are still doing something better for mankind. Really love it and inspire me to do something better for society

Magnificent interview, sir! And as Carl Sagan said about science, "If you can prove it, we'll believe you." Thank you for being who you are, John; for making such a great scientific stride in quantum entanglement; and for consulting on my INTRAVERSE SF novel, too! :)

Thank you Mr. Clauser for your monumental experiment showing that entangled particles do indeed exhibit spooky action at a distance......after all these years, it is still spooky!

My interest in science came from when one day my Step - Father put his fist up to the sky & said to me ... Everything we see, the world & in the sky could come from something smaller than the size of my fist "... Ever since then I was fascinated with where it all came from? Unfortunately my life took me down a different path . It wasn't his fault what path that was . But none the less it was this path which helped me to understand the way things are . That nothing can not exist & we, the universe are just light manifestation frictating constantly into nothing on either side of us . Much like Albert Einstein said.. Constant gravitational lensing into nothing basically as a result of nothing either trying to meet back upon itself or becoming malformed in certain areas due to shade manifestation which ultimately creates light . Congratulations on your Nobel Prize Mr Clauser 👏

It appears that science and philosophy are tools we use to lie to ourselves. Scientists and skeptics speak with certainty about despair but have no way of proving it. Trust me, I know that everything is pointless. -skeptic

It is very disappointing to see our experts confuse themselves with such enthusiasm.
