Hello from what a beautiful stamp. I have just won a penny black in an auction here in New Zealand. The stamp has four perfect margins. It’s from plate 4 SG1. It has a black maltese cross, I’m hoping to get a red one soon. I’m over the moon with mine as you are with yours. Congratulations 🥳

I was amazed to find out I'd won. It's an absolutely stunning stamp, and is the pride of my collection. It prompted me to start the channel (I had been thinking about it for a while), and I'm so glad I did, it's opened up a world of collectors and stamps. It also gave me the idea to run my giveaways, as I wanted to give something back to the community.

Congratulations, what an amazing stamp if it's the first stamp from a block perhaps the left margin might be the edge of the paper so as big as it can be. No matter still a great addition 👌

Wot a gud win it's a cracker of a penny Black, I woz lucky enough to get one from my wife as a prezzy a few months ago that also a cracker , as a stamp collector you just have 2 own one , looking forward to seeing more of ur videos keep safe 👍

Really enjoyed your channel - I actually have the penny black sheet with 2 stamps one being the double head and I have a book of unused 1952 stamps, I don’t know that much about the availability - are they rare ?

The stamps for Queen Elizabeth are not rare, they were printed in vast volumes, so availanility is widespread. The sheet you mention, is that 150th anniversary of the Penny Black sheet? If so, again, not rare, but a nice item to have in your collection.

What is the competition about? A Penny Black is very generous prize!

It was an online vote for best collection held by The Museum of Philately. They chose the winner at random from the people who voted. I was lucky enough to be drawn as the winner.
