John Cooper Works Mini Roadster - Road Test

So what is the John Cooper Works Mini Roadster like to drive ?
In this video (my first ever road test !) I put her through her paces and consider driving comfort, performance and economy and most importantly how this car put's a smile on your face.
I am hoping to give a view from a 'normal' driver, albeit a driver with a National B Racing Licence and member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists.

Thought I would have a look at your back catalogue !!! Going to be hard to part with this super JCW after all the work done to it or is it a keeper ? But the GP3 will defiantly be an awesome replacement for it !!! Keep up the fantastic work creating awesome videos and I would encourage your followers to view your back catalogue. Hi Geof Thanks for the positive feedback. I love my Mini to bits, sounds like you have a beaut too. I think you may well like my next video that will go live this Friday (6pm UK Time). I get my hands on an R56 Cooper S that has been heavily modified and now, complete with a roll cage and race bucket seats, kicks out 288 BHP ! It is a monster. I can't promise I remain sensible throughout the whole test drive ! Thanks for the Sub. Welcome :-)

Hey Man! I’ve just bought one of these and I was wondering about the ambient lighting- I don’t seem to have any around the cup holder area beneath the central displays. Is there a bulb under there I should look for?

They are pretty solid cars. Have a good look at the soft top. They sometimes have problems with the mechanism wearing through the fabric.

Excellent video! Just note that if you hold down the traction control button for a while, it turns traction completely off. When you press t once and TRACTION appears on the rev-meter it is something like "dynamic" traction.
