In 2012 I was in such a deep depression as a christian, failed maths exam... I have experienced conversion and some of God's Presence.. but me and my friends we were craving to see God's Glory... We were praying, God gave us friends, who moved in the prohpetic and charismatic gifts, like River of God, gifts of the Spirit.. speaking in tongues, prophecying, visions, do the soaking... So they introduced to us Toronto stuff and many other things like "Catch the Fire", Rodney Howard Browne.. etc. And then they introduced us "John Crowder" (they checked him on the gift of discernment, since they moved in the gifts of the Spirit and got totally drunk and blasted out....) as the most drunk in the Presence and Glory of God preacher. We were just sincere, wanted to experience more of His Glory and to know Jesus and this ecstatic reality. So we went to Riga, Latvia on "Antistress" (which was part of Post-Soviet platform "Cosmonaut Tour" arranged by John and the team) and there I got more than just bizzarre miracles, gold dust, seeing people falling in crazy ecstasies and trances.. tumor dropping down... people totally blackout in the Presence of God... more than just experience of peace, love and righteousness in the Holy Ghost.. and the fruits... I really for the first time heard the PURE GOSPEL that we died with Jesus... the old sinful self was destroyed completeley, never coming back and we were made alive as a New Creation totally united with Jesus and all the Godhead that He is packing. I never watched Johseph Prince or wasn't attracted so much to it.. some of my friends did... but what happened, we were radically transformed... our minds and hearts healed... Some of the guys from our group saw in the Spirit that John was in a costume of "a bear" and the Lord spoke: "This is My Teddy Bear.. A lot of My Glory resting upon Him" and the other vision my visionary friend got.. was that John had two knifes and that two snakes came out with the name of "religion" and "legalism" and John just killed them with the knifes... That's how the most crazy transformation started.. I literally stuck in Romans 6 for years.. Experienced encounters with God.. got free from pornography and some lust addictions... were set free from depression and was overwhelmingly filled with the peace and joy of Jesus. Ended up being one person, who helped to translate John's books into Russian, going on a mission trip with him and just helping to see people that there is such a beautiful expression in a ministry way of delivering the Gospel.... First time I heard about John though... was the video clip how he was toking the Jehovavanah and the Holy Ghost with friends... my first thought was "blashpemy!" How I was wrong! And how God changed my pespective! Crazy! Glory to Jesus!

So appreciate the explanation of "Religion" as: "Our attempt to get right with God." Not needed, it's already done! What simple but HUGE truths: "Just Start with Jesus!" "Jesus is our Meeting Point" & "Relax and engage in Relationship" too many more to share them all!! Had never heard of John Crowder until this moment, can't wait to hear more truth from him. Thank you MM for the introduction!

Most offensive thing? Probably would be to offend (your own) offense. We hold our opinions in such ridiculously high esteem that the idea that it was there anyone else would violate them is to us like to commit the ultimate sacrilege. And the whole thing, of course, is an idol

People still get offended when I repeat to them what John said to set me free from some religious lies. For example, when I tell Christians that the Gospel gives us permission to where we don’t have to sin another day in our life thanks to Jesus, people have gotten really offended by that. And I’m like “if you really want to sin then I won’t stop you.” But for me, when I heard this the light clicked on and I was “O’ crap. Duh 🙄 “ Since then, I haven’t believed what my youth pastor told me about how I would always struggle with sin because Jesus set us free, and any other garbage way of trying to put God in a box. Also, since John turned my attention to Psalm 22, where God the Father never turned His back on Jesus, I promptly pointed that out to my Senior Pastor and our small group. Lol Jesus made John a window washer, to clean off the gunk and crap 💩 to the windows of people’s souls 😜.
