So well said by John Curry regarding the jumps and that jumping higher and higher should not be the goal. John Curry blended both the artistic and the athletic sides of figure skating. I wish that the current International Skating Union could really hear this.

He was the innovator, the genius, the artist...and is yet to be equaled. I had the great privilege of seeing him in person...and even "sharing" the ice with him at the Met.
