You can download the files below to print your own. I also attached a dimension drawing if you don't have a 3d printer you could likely make one out of wood or plastic of some sort. @@fixmake7627 , I got lucky. Dealer checked and it is still under warranty. They took care of it, no charge.

Hello - Great documentary! Do you have a video of doing the front seals? I only see the new vs. old seal comparison & the radiator. (Thought maybe this was an oversight.)

Sorry I didn’t actually record that one but it’s a fairly simple job. There is a video out here call 1025r wheel bearing replacement that is actually a seal replacement just labeled wrong. If you have any trouble with it feel free to ask any questions here.

Sorry no but you can use the 3d file I share to have it printed online and sent to you. I also have another dimensions file you could make one out of wood if you don't have a 3d printer... it wouldn't be very hard to make... I am adding the files to the description...

Can you send me a link to print the seal driver. This is a great and super helpful video. Thanks for taking the time to put it together.

I would like to get a copy of that 3d printer program. Or maybe the dimensions so I could draw it up. The video was great. Thanks

Hi there! I’d love the 3D print files for the tool you made. I just discovered my 82 hour 1025r has a leaking axle seal (out of warranty by time). I do have access to a slide hammer I’m hoping that will work to pull the axles. Thanks!!

Also I was going to ask when you print the file (which I found below) what were the settings for infill?

I would have lightly lubed the seal with oil or a light grease.

I just found this video and the information is exactly what I need. My 1023e is leaking at 125 hours. If you wouldn't mind sending me a link to your files I really would appreciate it. I'm also very interested in the venting dipstick for the front axle if you're willing to make that file available also. Since I don't have access to a 3D printer (and don't know who around me does) could you also possible provide the dimensions of the the seal driver? I'm wondering if perhaps I could crank out something on a lathe. Also FWIW, the official Deere tool's PN is JDG11404 and depending on where you look the price is between $150 as $225 US. That's WAY to zesty for something you'll hopefully only have to use once or twice. Thanks again for the video!

Thanks for watching... With regards to the tool, I honestly think you could get by with a simple donut shape cut out of wood with some thin tape to hold it together. As long as the outer diameter fits in the housing and the inner diameter catches the lip on the axel you could tap it in, once in you could just put a screw in the face of it to pull it out or likely just use a pick to get it out. The larger part at the top is not really necessary, its just there to hold it together. Check out the following link for the dimensions of the one I made. With regards to the dip stick, I decided not to use it due to the low melt point of the 3d printed plastic. Here is the link for the dimensions :drive.google.com/file/d/1tKCS2dg1f7ef6ykipNVoBb8Sm32ZM4uP/view?usp=sharing

@@fixmake7627 Thank you so much! This is EXACTLY what I need. I was thinking of doing something similar to your wooden donut idea but making it out of a length of nylon rod. It's almost as easy to work with as wood and knowing how good these seals are it might have to be put to use a couple of more times over the life of my 1023e. :^(. Too bad the vented dipstick didn't work out. It was a really good idea but sometimes things just don't go as planned. Thanks again!

@@timthetoolman223 I think the dipstick would likely be fine if I printed it with ABS or even PETG. I used PLA which has a very low melting point, starts to soften around 140F this is still likely enough but I was worried it would deform and get stuck. PETG would be good up to about 180f and ABS is about 220f so I may print them with some different material and do some testing when the warm weather returns here in the east coast of Canada. If I do that I will post a video, if you subscribe you should get a notification when I post it. Cheers!
