Its funny how most of you guys down in the states rarely use clean up buckets. Like 90% of the time thats what we use here in BC. All of our machines have quick changes with digging buckets too weather it be a bolt on wedge style, hydraulic wedge or pin grabber.

CrazyEye75 Near all our hoes have a hydraulic thumb too, and gaurding! A pin on bucket with no thumb on a plain machine just looks weird to me.. But I'd love to run a tilt rotator in the dirt for a bit!

Use the bottom of the bucket as a guide when leveling anything. Makes better results and you get a smoother ride. Btw, look up for some engcon videos to master all the handy little things faster. Mr.Seilorman from KZbin makes good videos and he is a real pro.

If you have any engcon people close by there, you oughta get them to look at the amount of oil the tiltrotator is getting. there's a pretty strained noise everytime you spin or tilt. having the right oil preasure makes all the difference. it can make the machine send more oil than needed so you loose power to other functions while using it.
@DirtNinja
@DirtNinja 7 жыл бұрын
I noticed that noise too. Its much louder in the video than real life. The camera picks up some noises strange ive found. Do you think it is getting too much or too little oil?
@satricon
@satricon 7 жыл бұрын
Dirt Ninja it sounds like it gets too much oil, its usually the case with a freshly installed tiltrotator. You're supposed to be able to calibrate it to set machine. Set oil preasures to where it barely moves to get a low enough preasure in the start, instead of the machine slamin full preasure into it when its not being used. I used to have a similar system and engcon walked me through it over the phone. But it never got great until a tech guy from hitachi had a look at the machine and made some settings himself. Made a huge difference! Call them and ask how to calibrate it if possible :) might save fuel and make it feel better

No problem! Its fun to finally see some tiltrotators in the us. one easy test to see if the tilty uses to much oil from the machine is to hoover the edge of the bucket evenly and close to the ground towards the machine as if you were carefully grading. if you then slightly tilt or rotate when doing so, you'll see if the arms direction is affected without you adjusting your input. usually it drops the bucket towards the ground cuz the boom loses some oil preasure. If you're lucky when calibrating the tiltrotator you can minimize or even get rid of that annoying symptom! Post an update if you manage to improve it! :)
@satricon
@satricon 7 жыл бұрын
also in the aspect of calibrating and such, if you ever get another tiltrotator, you oughta check out Steelwrist. they have an awesome touch display with their system where you can easily oversee and adjust all pressures and settings!

Total gamer he was using the triaxle to haul in gravel. If you get alot of soil mixed with rocks, maybe look into an EZ Screen. Make your own topsoil.

Yep, any heavy work should be done with your primaries to the rear for safety in that way. Also protects the primaries while working.... same goes for walking, primaries should be downhill.

Why doesn't your dump truck 6 wheeler pull six feet closer to the edge of the grass line so that you don't ask the bucket out that far the driveway is going farther away from the direction he is pointing would make more sense why don't you take two in off of nothing but brass the whole length and then take for 5 in beautiful topsoil and save the beautiful topsoil for the homeowner

does that even matter? anyone can see that he's a bit rough with it. sorta slamming the bucket into the dirt now and then. pretty unnecessary. i've been running excavators with rotortilts for 10+ years and i agree with him.
