John Deere 2025R- Transmission Oil Strainer Service

This video shows how to clean/replace the transmission oil strainer on a John Deere 2025R, first generation tractor without removing the tire.
This is part of replacing your transmission hydraulic oil during 50/200 hr maintenance, etc.
As you can see in the video, I made a foolish mistake at first. The tractor is back in action, and I hope this video helps you with you project.

dude its a lot easier to just take one of the wheels off

It's a viable option, but my tires are loaded. Also, 2 bolts to remove the bushing vs 4-5 on the tire plus jack and stand. Choose your own adventure!
