John Deere 214 With 37A Snowthrower: Start and Walk Around

The 214 is all dressed up with no place to go. I finally got weights installed on the rear to help with traction and to balance the weight of the snowthrower. Now all I need is snow!

Are those the 42lb weights? How do 4 make 235lbs? I have a 216 and same as you 4 suitecase weights and my front end still too heavy that it makes it hard to turn

What lifts the snow thrower ? Do you have hydrolicks

On these tractors there is a lift rod that goes from the rock shaft to the front of the tractor that connects to the snowblower. This tractor has a hydraulic lift that would operate the mower deck lift and front attachments. If you don’t have the hydraulic or electric lift options, you would just use the same lever that’s used for the mower deck lift.
