John Deere 300 - Resurrecting an abused Garden Tractor

We are rescuing this old John Deere 300 Garden Tractor to put it back to work in the yard. We paid $340 for it. It ran (roughly) has 4 new tires, new battery, new starter, and no major damage. I will document what it takes to get it back in fully functional shape to put it back in use.

Awesome tractor. Congrats. I have a 318 for snow plowing and a Troy Bilt Pony that I mow with. That one finally needed carb work, and like you said, I just bought a Chinese one for under 20 bucks. Bolted it on, fired it up, and it was perfect. The idle mixture was even spot-on. Love your video... thanks :)
