Bought a 410D 4x4 turbo with a 4way and a thumb a couple months ago. Nice machine and just put new front tires on it today. I was wondering what the clutch on the bucket was for. Couldn’t find out WHY in the manual. Thanks for the post! Tires Easy is a fast shipper (4 days) if you ever need it btw. 👍 I’m out in the sticks.

Thanks...looking to buy one, so nice to see the basics. I probably would have been one of those who used the diff-lock to shift gears! Glad you added that section.

Drove a Case 580 with hand swing and a 580B with foot swing. Hand swing I liked better. Thank you for the driving lesson, Josh. Stay safe and stay cool

Thanks for showing, For folks like us that have no idea how to run one of those machines its very interesting. How fast does it move if you have to drive it on a dirt road? 10mph?
@LumberjackSmokestack2 жыл бұрын
21 mph forward in 4th, 19 mph reverse in 4th. Thanks for watching!

Does this machine share fluid between trans and hydraulic system ? Wondering if hyd reservoir should have only the trans/hyd fluid or can take straight hyd fluid?
@LumberjackSmokestack Жыл бұрын
Sorry I didn’t see this earlier. The trans reservoir has wet breaks in it and is separate from the main hydro system. So you could use hydro with trans additives and then save a couple of buck and put straight hydro in the main tank and reverser. When we service this machine we just typically use universal fluid. We’ll run regular stuff in the skid steer and splitters around here. With the verified amount of equipment we have we keep both types on hand in a relatively large quantity

@@LumberjackSmokestack Until this vid I wouldn't have had a clue of what to do in an emergency of someone being pinned under something and a backhoe was setting there with no operator. It's vids like this that have the potential of saving a life. So, the vid was well worth your time making it and us watching it.

@@ClintsHobbiesDIY thanks Clint. I know you’re a good operator. I’m sure you could figure out pretty much any machine pretty quick.

Mines got 4x4 but not working I gotta figure out how it works. I guess your machine ain't the turbo charged 4x4 version.
@LumberjackSmokestack Жыл бұрын
It is. The 4x4 is activated by an electric switch on the control panel. I guess I should have shown that. As far as the turbo goes there nothing really to show there. Thanks for watching.
