John Deere 318 322 332 Rear Hydraulic Kit Install

I decided to add this kit to the 322 because I wanted the ability to pitch the 3 point without getting off my rear end. I have a hydraulic top link on my 1023E, once you have one it's tough going back. Had more trouble than I thought I'd have, lots of things were as "exact fit" as they should have been.

Nice video. I bought a 314 that has a missing hydraulic line and coupler to the front. Hopefully mine is similar your tractor so I can replace it in the spring.

Like missing, there is only one, or you have two and not four? The 314 was a single hydrualic option tractor, similar to this generation's 316 with the Onan. So there were only 2 lines (1 circuit) to the front. Thanks for watching.

@@FloridaDeere There isn't any on my tractor but the place where the coupler is located is empty. I'm assuming the previous owner took it for another tractor and sold it to me.

I'm not positive, but it's possible some came without a circuit there at all. In fact, most here in Florida would use only the deck hydraulics for most work here anyway. If you have to track down a set, it may be worth it to find a whole H-2 set for sale on eBay and upgrade if you think you might have a later use for more than one circuit. There was a year or two, when the front hydraulics were an option.

Yeah, it was weird that in several areas, things didn't exactly match up like they were supposed to. He's sold over 50 kits, maybe I'm the only one that had trouble. Thanks for watching.

That was interesting, now I want one. Where did you end up getting a Cat 0 Hydraulic upper link?

I didn't, while I have a Cat 1 hitch on there, it's still a limited Cat 1 or Cat 0 top link, my hope is I can "modify" the same one I have on my 1023E or one very similar. I'll figure something out, where there is a will, there is a way, as they say. Most case scenario, it's still available to use a dump cylinder on my MC519 cart...later project for sure.
