John Deere 322/Another Ruegg three point installation

Hey guys hopefully y’all in joined the video! Very happy to say I purchased a John Deere 322! The ol 318 when to a great home too. And I figured with needed to put the three point hitch on this tractor, I’d just make another video. I know the first one wasn’t very good lol. I’ll do a more in depth review on the 322 soon. Nice find. Regardless the cost, you just don't find many like that. I always say "Buy them when you see them" or you may never get another chance. I hate to have to say to myself "I wish I would have bought that tractor" after the fact.

Sharp looking 322! I'm betting it's an '88 since it has manual choke, they switched to automatic choke after about a year.

The rattle is simply your hood. Run some thin rubber tubing along the edges and it will disappear.

Wow man, you are certainly not slumming it with that 322, she's in perfect condition. It looks like there was a time machine involved. Yes my belief is anything less than 50/year is low hours. If my factory warranty on my 1023 goes to 2000 hours, 1300 hours is low:-)

Tractordata.com will give you the year based on serial #, the site isn't perfectly accurate but mostly. It is mid 90 or earlier based on that is is manual choke from what I can tell just by looking at it. Mine is a '90, but still manual choke, auto choke came later in 90.

shiny ride!!! You're right- should be an 88, because the lack of the stop sign on the dash, as well as no red warning decal on the dash. In the pic you sent me, the serial tag was in the wrong place, so they probably replaced the tag and put it in the wrong spot.... whoops lol. It'd look really badass with 16x6.50-8 V61s, tbh the oversized ones on the 318 made it look like a tonka toy lmao. Nice machine, and congrats!

Yanmar-powered tractors had the serial tag on the RH side of the dash pedestal. It wasn't in the same location as the other models.

Nice 322! I have a Cub Cadet 100 just like the one in the video. The previous owner put incorrect front tires and rims on mine. I like the ones you have on yours could you tell me the front tire size and rim width on yours? Thanks!
