Get a machine shop to bore a hole deep enough on the face of the pin for a zert fitting then drill holes to finish the route for the grease to go where you want it.

How do you get the bucket off of the quick tatch is not working? Mine has wires pinched and keeps popping the fuse. I need to get the bucket off to get to them.
@davidforbes46444 жыл бұрын
You might try using some foam rubber type material (pipe insulation or window AC perimeter seal) to fill in the gaps around the cover. Flexible, cheap and easy to remove and replace if necessary.

Good luck we have 5 of them can’t keep them cleaned out. Plus the bottom bucket pins we’ll break at least one a week

I have been using one of these and so far my gripe is being unable to see what I'm doing with pallet forks about the height of a pickup bed or trailer. What do you think about leaving all that off and just using it manually? Maybe keeping a rag stuffed over the spring on each side. Maybe a machine this powerful should have euro style quick attach.

Had the same problem with ours the dealer fixed it about 3 times under warranty n had one pin break. About to have to do it again because it will not detach from the equipment.we had had problems with the mounting bolts on the bottom from the arms to the bucket fixed 2 under warranty last time put new bushing in arms n taper bolts n cost me 2600 to fix n no way to c itor watch it until it breaks. My machine 575 hrs the deere mechanics took me if it stick get a hammer n beat them up.the deere people donot know how to fix.hes right one great machine except those parts N out of warranty u better call the bank

I’m looking at purchasing one of theses, I was watching your clip and started brain storming here. Just wondering if there is a way to get it in the unlock position and maybe put a little newspaper in it (wadded up) with some spray foam around it to keep the rocks from getting in it. Don’t know if it will work or not- could be an easy fix. Just put enough paper in there to keep the foam from dropping down on your working parts. Hope it works if you try it

I keep mine oiled and have no problems at all. You could also install a rubber deflector which I seen guys do.

You think this is from back dragging mud and rocks?
@JusticFreedomFighter2 жыл бұрын
I do not like this design either. It totally sux. I have people that work for me and they back drag with the bucket standing straight up. Pisses me off all the time. I’ve hade to buy a new face plate at 1600$ and springs wedges and bolts. Nothing is cheap when it comes to John Deere. Ridiculous and they don’t cover crap under a warranty that you think would be. But this quick attachment wedges get in a bind and totally will piss you off. I think their needs to be a totally different design for all Skidsteers this one especially.
@jakethesnake49718 ай бұрын
That puts a lot of wear and pressure on the faceplate and pins doesn't it?

I wonder if the actuator clutch is weak? Oh yeah you need to prop that thing up, I’ve heard some bad things from logging camp!

Digginok only a select few could survive logging camp from what I hear. I don’t know if I would last more than a day or two

I broke the tip off one of the latches on my 333E. I also had a heck of a time getting that bottom pin to go back in. I haven't had the rock problem, maybe its because mine always gets jammed up with mud before the rocks get to it. Anybody know of a 333 bucket pin and bushing replacement video somewhere? Mine's ready for those now. Thanks for the video.

@jakethesnake49718 ай бұрын
Do you have a John deere? We have hand levers on our 1997 case 1840 and they have grease fittings that still work flawlessly to this day. Sometimes simple is better
@richardteghtmeyer14062 жыл бұрын
The quick touch on the John Deere is a bad design. The Bobcat one is a lot simpler. Less issues and a lot easier to work on. As for the rest of the machine I guess it’s OK but like I said, the quick Tatch in my opinion is a piece of crap.

I have the same issue with my new 318G. Its either dirt or rocks that prevent the latches from locking when I change buckets. I'm taking it in to RDO for service and will find what if anything remedies the issue. Thanks for the video.

Nothing runs like a Deere.... until it doesn’t. You might be getting crap in it when you back drag... that’s what happens with the bucket loader on my Kubota. But, it’s way over yonder easier to clean out. Looks to me like that set up is engineered to fail!
@e.l.construction59454 жыл бұрын
William Harris hey don’t be bashing John Deere. Since I own one, there isn’t anything better! You might actually be on to something with the back dragging. There’s not much on the bottom to keep from filling it up.

@@e.l.construction5945 actually asv is 100 times better I use a 333g 2019 almost daily and 2019 asv daily and take the asv any day over it and there the only ones that use dual pistons on there quick attach so in the winter when mud freezes that second piston makes a hell of a difference and much better sealed havent had an issue with any rocks yet

This is just a bad design by John deere. Excellent skid steers but no grease fittings is ridiculous
@branchandfoundry56013 күн бұрын
Easy enough to drill & tap a couple holes and install grease fittings. Should be that way from the factory. But it's not. No biggie.
