The only other time I have ever been able to see such a setup similar to that one was over in Shipshewana Indiana and the 5 or 6 horse hitch with power until and John deere round baler. Awesome video Roger

Was the reel turning a bit fast for the horses' walking speed?

Maybe. It’s not easy to change the speed. Didn’t seem to be wrapping the stalks around the reel.
