Thanks for doing this - reminds me of a time long ago. I was a JD service tech and worked on these old boys a lot. Then started farming and used both models. Lot'sa fun!

Those are some great tractors you got! We still use an 830 diesel and a 730 on our farm. Hoping to get the 70 diesel going again...

Those are beautiful tractors. I have a 59 530 I inherited from my great uncle and I hope to get it looking that good soon. Gotta find fenders and a wide front end for it and repaint. Other than that it's in very good shape.

By the 530 front axle oscillation, the 730 plows deeper. Famous story around here is about a 720 and a 560 IH plowing a field with gumbo in it both with 4 bottom plows. 560 would run up on the 720 only to have to pull the torque because of the gumbo. 720 just kept going and didn't slow hardly at all. Thru the gumbo and the 560 would start to catch the 720 only to have to pull the torque again because of gumbo. Chased each other like that for a few days. Great memories.

You certainly have that 4 bottom set up perfectly. Doing a beautiful job. Sure brings back some wonderful memories of my plowing days. Thanks for sharing. On your next video, you need to hold the camera steady. Try looking at your video, it makes you dizzy.

that 530 should be able to pull 3 14's with no problem, seems a little sluggish at times

yes 520 530 can pull 3-14s easy in 3rd i do it with my 520 and from what my grandpa told me pulling 2-14s trailer plow is like pulling 3-14s on the 3 point

Wish we still had are farm but my dad sold it instead of thinking of his kids, his motto is money first family last . I would rather be farming then working in this deirtey old body shop

The unit in the back is following too close. The front unit puts a lot of dust in the air that can end up in the air cleaner filter of the rear unit. The rear tractor should be a good 150 feet further back.

Systorable - There's really not that much dust with plowing. Disking would be another mater.
