John Deere 55 Combine 1958

looked like a beautiful day on the farm way back in 1958,Lots of great footage of several John Deere model 55 Combines in action.Transferred from original double 8mm film. Part of a collection of 1950s farm tractor films we recently acquired.

That appears to have been a very wet year. Wheat fileds full of water. Lot of weeds in one field and Milo still pretty green. Wonder what the sample was testing? Thanks for sharing this history!!!
