Freaking awesome! We ran a 5020 with an 8 tow 16"....white plow....nitro returns...(not spring loaded) and a JD M with a 2 row!

@@HFarms1955 Next year we’ll try to add an international tractor. We had a 4 bottom IH 720 plow hooked to our JD 4320 but the plow blew a hose. Thanks for watching.

Looks like a great time! That R pulled that 4 bottom pretty well. Dad had a 9 bottom Wil-Rich he use to pull with his 7520 but that was on sandy loam soil which was pretty easy to pull through. Your 7520 looked like it was hardly working with that 6 bottom. Last fall I plowed a quarter with an 8 bottom Melroe and a 300 horse 895 Versatile on clay loam and there were spots that made it snort a bit with that plow. Soil type sure makes a difference in what you can pull! Thanks for the video

@@Thewaywefarm Too bad you weren't closer, dad's 5 bottom JD he use to pull with an 820 is sitting at my brothers farm, it is the same style as the one the R is pulling. It would look pretty sweet behind your 720 I'll try to remember to shoot some video the next time I plow with the 895 and get it to you, no charge! lol. it won't be at least until next year though Good luck with the rest of harvest!

When I started plowing 8 or 9 years old it was a white 2-155 and a white 6 bottom. Sometime around 12 or 13 I moved up to a Steiger Panther and a couple of 6 bottom John Deere plows hooked together. I think they were 3600’s. Can’t remember. It has been a day or two. Thanks for another great video. Keep’em coming

Growing up, my dad did some cash crop corn and he plowed with the Ford 4000 with a ford old trip 3 bottom, I plowed with our Ford 801 Powermaster with a 2 bottom old trip JD plow.

I first started with a Super MD and a model 70 4-14s. Then a International 806 Wheatland turbo with a MM 5-16s. Next a MM G1000 Vista with a MM 6-16s. Then a 1155 Massey Ferguson with 7-16s. Then a Massey Ferguson 1800 with a 880 plow. Finally a Massey Ferguson 4900 with an International 800 with 10- 18s.

Use to plow with a 730 or 630 with 810 3.16 john deere plow i have pulled a Oliver 2.14 pull t,pye with a B john deere we are notill plowing is just about a thing of the past here

@@davidwhisnant3230 Those were cool setups in their day! We were leveling up this field and playing at the same time. We run a 12 row strip tiller in the spring putting down 28%, so much more efficient and in my opinion we’re making our soil more resistant and healthy. Thanks for watching and the comments.
