There sure is a lot of belts to deal with on those things. Glad you got it fixed relatively quickly and easily.

Yes, there are a lot of belts. They all look ok for now.

It worked out great. This year, we have had our share of breakdowns. Thanks for being here and commenting.

Thanks for making this video, I'm getting into the same job on the 4400 except I get to take 2 apart to fix one ! Mine broke the upper frame and its junk just like the upper sieve , Thank God I have a parts machine to swipe parts off of cause JD is mighty proud of some of these parts for it but its getting all new bushings for it upper and lower. If I'm going to do this might as well do it right the first time. I've never had to work on a shaker bed before so this is a first for me and I know I'll have to have some help to do this cause its a 2 man job for sure ! Bandit

It is heard to be in 2 places at the same time. Your ares are not long enough, lol. Itoes sound better, and it feels smoother. I agree, if you are going to tare into it, you might as well do all of them. Best of luck to you, my friend.

I hope to have Jacobs help pulling them out and putting them back in, He's tall and skinny and can get into tight place I just cant get into ! When I did the belts on the 4400 a lot of the guards on the main shaft under the seat I barely got off and there was just no way for me to reach them let along put bolts back in. When Jacob was having a hard time getting to them he asked how did you get them off ? LOL I told him it wasnt easy ! LOL This is going to be very interesting to say the least for me to get this done, I'm just glad I dont have to worry about how long it takes to get this done cause I got a year to do it in ! LOL Bandit

I had troubles on the 4400 like that but it was bad enough to where it broke the shaker frame that holds the chaffer. So on those Titan II:s they sped up the shoe a lot compared to just a regular 6620. Basically they used a different pulley that sped everything up. Anyway a lot of guys switch those pulleys back to slow that shoe back down. So my question is yours still running fast or has it been switched to run slow?

I will look into it. I didn't know that. Which is better?
@AgWildNebraska11 ай бұрын
@@TAHDAHFarmWell the older way is better apparently because the new way just shakes everything to pieces is what I have read.

I'm at work right now, and I'm looking at john deere's parts breakdown. It looks like they changed the speed with the sprocket for the Pitman drive. My serial number break would be the new way.

@@TAHDAHFarm yes that's right. I was just wondering if somebody slowed yours down already or if it was still fast.
