John Deere LT150 Review | Nothing runs like a Deere!

I wonder if you're planning to replace the discharge chute. This tractor is exactly like ours that we bought brand new in 2002. We just bought a 2021 X390, but simply cannot part with the LT150, so after we hit a deck post last season (after all of these years) and smashed the now-brittle front plastic bumper, we plan on restoring it as best as we can to include a steel bumper guard over the new bumper. Our beloved LT150 has been through the ringer on our property for many years and still works great for, as you said, what it has needed to do. Amazingly, our hood didn't crack after the collision, but now it won't stay on until we install the plastic bumper. We're retired, and still love to fiddle around with our garden power toys, so hopefully we will be able to repair & replace, and keep using the LT150. Need to get after-market parts. Not spending all that money at our dealer's, so if you have any suggestions as to a what/where we could buy those after-market parts, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have had to replace the bumper, upper hood, and lower hood. The new plastic parts are made much better. I ended up taking the chute off, I will get a new John Deere OEM chute once I have some spare money. It’s about $75. Still love the tractor, no plans on getting rid of it

No. That is the original paint. But the hood is new.

Funny thing is you're right. The cup holder is poorly designed. My yeti always flies out.

Totally agree! Mine, these days, are water & Diet Pepsi, but they fly off the lousy drink holder too.

The deck was busted and I had to get someone to weld a repair ring in, so it did need some work. But the engine ran fine.
