Very nice tractor. Did you change the generator to alternator? I have a '47 B 12 v and considering making the change.

Yes, I like giving the “correct police” something to talk about 😂. The alternator charges so much faster than the generator. On a tractor that doesn’t get run very much but gets started a lot, I think that it is an acceptable change.

Sadly, probably only 3-$4,000. I see people asking more, but in reality-that would be a ball park figure.

What type of oil do you use for your transmission?

Just regular gear oil-as much as they set, changing frequency is probably more important than the type of oil (in my opinion) -Due to probability of moisture accumulation.

And what is the difference between the Model A and Model B?

Model B is basically a smaller version of the A. A lot of similarities, just the B is about 3/4 size of the A.
