John Deere Power Integral (Sleve) Hitch Quick Connect on X530

This is John Deere's Power Integral Hitch (also known as a sleeve hitch) that connects to the hydraulic cylinder of the X500 series tractors and allows raising/lowering of implements with the hydraulics.
While I only hand tightened the bolt at the bottom in the video, I usually tighten it down with a wrench. It doesn't really need to be torqued or tightened extremely tight.

Thanks for the video, Greg. I need to get one of these for my 500 series this year. Putting in some gardens and looking at a disc harrow and moldboard plow (but undecided if I will actually need the plow).

That's right, the body must be removed to install the lift linkage.

When this is installed and you activate the raise/lower lever, does the deck move up and down as well or only the rear hitch?

Yes, the deck would move as well. I generally remove the deck when using ground attachments.

Very nice video. I'm considering purchasing one for my X540. Can you tell me what the lift capacity is? Also does this hitch put any down force on implements or do weights need to be added to ground engaging implements? Thank you.

I'm not sure what the exact specs are, but one thing to keep in mind is that the hitch does extend away from the tractor a bit to make room for rear mounted weights. This reduces the lifting capacity. I am able to put one 42lb weight on my box scraper and it will lift it OK, but more than that and it starts having trouble since the weight is so far back. There is no downforce, only the weight of the implement.

What is the part number or where can I find the hitch in this video?

I believe this was part # LP22835, when I check online I see it was replaced by part # LP66661. I don't know what the difference is between the two though. Try green parts store or other online retailer if you don't have a JD dealer nearby.
