Great video! We purchased a Ventrac for sidewalks but we've always wanted the 1585. Got a chance to Demo it on our commercial lawns and fell in love. Quite pricey but the HVAC is very nice. We have one arriving at our dealership in March and I think Ill just trade all of our other mowers in on the 1585. Great visibility, awesome 4wd and super quick machines. I heard changing attachments can be a bit of a pain in the butt but theyre productive units!

The switching of attachments are a little bit of a pain that’s for sure. All around a great productive unit with heat and A/C for the team. Couple things to watch out for: ensure the operators know proper diesel idling etiquette, as this machine does not have auto idle and has the tier 4 EGR system. In winter this can be a problem with stuck EGR valves from too much idling. Also, if you live in a cold temperature area, this unit has a fuel cooling system which causes your fuel to gel up past -20C. We disconnect the cooling system in the winter to prevent those issues. Last issue for us is in the summer and winter the filter can get plugged with snow or grass quite easily. Consider the deflector kit as this has helped us mitigate that issue. Other than being a tough unit to work on maintenance wise, it does have a lot of pros for the amount of material it can push, the attachments it comes with, select all wheel drive, tight turning radius, quick unit to bomb around town in and creature comforts for the team. @@avaralandscape terrain cuts are a awsome machine aren't they? I have one work great for snow removal I am just wondering what company and how do I get ahold of those attachments you have on there?

@@gamerfarms9362 We get them from our local dealer (Brandt/Cervus equipment & Western Tractor) but the blade and bristle attachments are from Conterra Industries and our turbine blower is from Buffalo Turbine. We chose Conterra over John Deere attachments because they seem like they are built a bit stronger and more durable!
