So it's a comparison of a red class 9 and green class 11. And from what can be seen the smaller red boy is doing just fine against his much larger green rival.

The test I want to see is which one goes down first and how long it takes a dealer to show up and fix the problem.

heard this before and also whats on the ground and in the bin and what the sample looks like seems they all put some on the ground havent worked out why and the bales here of header trail have lots of good grain from different brands seems they all leave a bit

@@tomnapier681from what I’ve gathered it seems to be how fast these machines want to go and how evenly the product is spread inside the machine. Just gotta slow it down a bit.

Everyone's looking at the side by side as the comparison. The only reason the JD is keeping up is because it feeding 150 extra horsepower. Then in the spring don't forget to look at the long green line left behind the Deere. It's there trademark... Put those two combines in a section of Durum and that IH will bury that JD in bushels. Don't get me wrong, there both good combines and they both break down even though they both chew the shit out of a $Million bucks. Everyone to there own color and the most important factor is how close is the dealer...that's the big factor.

No. The Deere is one or two classes bigger than the Case. I don't know if they classify the 1100 as a class 11 or a 10. I know the Case is a class 9. A more reasonable comparison would be a Case 9250 vs an S790.

@@Farmer1277 we had a 790 a few years ago. Couldnt stop it from throwing grain out without changing concaves. And the old 8120 kept going an hour later when it got cold. The 9.90s ran rings about that s790

We traded our two 8250 case combines for 2 S780 deere combines three years ago couldn’t keep the red ones running in tough green soy beans the green ones will run circles around the red ones have all red equipment but the green combines are a much better machine

Never heard that from anybody 😅now I have seen Johnny deere tractors and red combines but never the other way around maybe you need a yellow one but red then green never I'm allergic to green paint my checkbook gets triggered at the thought of paying 25% more on the front and then 50% more for parts and service

@ Shaun an 8120 is a monster where I farm. I started out with a 2144 then went to a 2344 then 2588 , 7088, and finally a 9120 before switching to Deere. I ran a 9870 and then two S680s before finally getting out of combining. The red combines were outstanding machines

I’m a Deere guy but from what I’ve seen their combines get clapped pretty hard by CNH in small grains. In my experience it’s more level with corn, but nonetheless this comparison is small grains.

Compare apples to apples if you want to accurate. X9 1100 is a class 10 plus, 9250 is class 9 like an s790 deere. If you are plugging for deere, its a piss poor comparison.
