I read all the comments on all the youtube channels devoted to Farnsey - so full of love for the man. I can't say I've ever "loved" a singer before, (how can you love someone you've never met?), I've only loved certain of their tracks, but with John it's quite different - I've only been watching these youtube videos for about 12 months, and yes, I can say I absolutely adore John the person - very humble man , very grounded. I love every single track that I've watched, even Sadie - of its time, and we had similar here in the UK in that era. And the voice was there, Every now and then I come across a Farnsey song I haven't heard before - it's like all my birthdays and Christmases all at once. Watching Farnsey sing is giving me so much joy in my later years. The children are grown and flown with their own families now and I have time to really concentrate on my pleasures in life - every day is a Farnsey day. Fingers crossed for John's full recovery so that he has a long and happy life with his family and friends - these last 18 months have been a hard road for him. And if there are any unreleased recordings perhaps they might go onto production? Just think - some new John Farnham tracks..... Bliss. Feb'24. UK. E❤

Best 4 singers around, JF sings with so much power & so effortlessly. I usually have to watch his videos a couple of times as I am too busy listening to John sing & reading all the wonderful comments that have been left & might I add, unlike Elvis Presley, there are just as many male comments as female. Farnsey’s magic touched a number of people - male & female, young & old.

6:55-7:20! Wow! Melts me John Farnham! Especially check out 7:10..wow! Johns' 20s, 30s- - 60s- really amazing singer. Thank you John Farnham. Wish I knew about this mans' talent 20 years ago. Only discovered this year 2018 for four months and I've gone crazy with his singing- astounding voice! I go back to my other music now and the level of singing is not the same ;-( Check out his rendition of Help (Whispering Jack, Age of Reason, Chain Reaction). I've been listening to John Farnham for forty or so yrs and this performance is in his top 5. Thank-you belatedly for posting it. It did seem it was a little bit of a holy grail performance. But wow, how good does it still stand up after all these years. Just a nod from Lindsay Field and it confirms that John nailed it. Unbelievable performance from an amazing singer. Love him.

No particular order, Bridge Over Troubled Waters (you tube) Help any performance, MSO a highlight. His performance at 2003 arias of You're The Voice, Please Dont Ask Me (any performance) and his performance of Cool Change in the LRB concert from 1983 . That's 4, plus this version of You'll Never Walk Alone 1991 carols . But you can add any performance of his over a long career and it would be a grand final. Just a consummate performer! Thanks for asking. Also I would recomend any performance of Comic Conversations because he just nails the meaning of the song,. Sorry that's six ,but it's hard to choose.

😊Mike I think you see why John is so loved, he always call attention to the members of his band sharing the credit for the song with them but you know true magic when he combines his band with the orchestras massive job blending a rock band and symphony orchestra the the concert John comes sings he involves the crowd with positive energy they feed it back to him and the musicians and the energy flowing back and forth creates something that is pure joy and magic and as near to perfect heaven as is possible on this earth .I do not think you can find a true Aussie who does not hold him as a precious gift God gave to us.
