One thing is always present, when John is performing or interacting with his fans; and that is, the smile on his face. He thoroughly enjoys what he does. Even when he is interviewed, that smile is always there.
@BluntTedTalksMusicАй бұрын
I like that its a real smile as well. So many people these days in the industry are no linger genuine. Took over by money rather than the love of doing. Money is evil

John was 20 years old when he first released his cover of One in 1969, he was 38 years old when he performed the song in 1987. You could always hear the clarity in his voice, right from the start; but the maturity and quality of his voice came into full effect, later in his career.
@BluntTedTalksMusicАй бұрын
He was always destined to make it with his voice im glad he decided to take his own direction and be away from those that controlled him. Thats allowed him to find himself and flourish

One (is the loneliest number) was written and originally recorded by Harry Nilsson, (1968) Three Dog Night were the first to do a cover, (also released in 1968) John said in an interview years ago that he ‘ripped it off Three dog night’ … thank you, enjoyed your reaction,
@carolynh8866Ай бұрын
John's version even charted higher in Australia than the 3 dog night version, which came out a little earlier than John's cover.

I love seeing the comparison between baby, popstar Johnny and seasoned rocker John. Young Johnny has to use falsetto to hit the highest notes and seasononed John just smashes them out full chest voice and at full throttle. Easy peasy. But even back then his voice was amazing and what we all fell in love with. ❤️
@AnnieD.1982Ай бұрын
Nicely said Carolyn 😊❤ The way Farnsey belts it out with such ease is incredible I agree! He is amazing at any age 😍

Its amazing that his voice has improved and got stronger as the years gone on. Most singers who go full throttle have to adapt many times during career but he just keeps on getting stronger. Thanks for the comment and for watching. Was very well put i agree with annie ❤️

Even as a baby John was incredible. The first version shows John’s natural born talent, with his raw and untrained vocals being so great at this young age. The later versions of this were obviously a lot better, a lot more rock and vocal perfection. I love this song and John does it so well, the live versions in the 80’s and 90’s were so awesome and even at this stage John was playing with and perfecting his mic and mic stand tricks, spinning the corded mic around like a set of nun chucks and catching it just in time to continue performer, what an absolutely incredible performer. And I love these double reactions comparing younger John and then the goat John perfection.

Yes he defo felt more relaxed and in control during the second perfeomance. He was free at this point and a million miles from his old life where he was abused and used. I did want to go and check out lrb but wasn’t sure peoples feelings about them given his bad experience with them but i guess it shows where he came from still so be worth doing. Bridge over troubled waters would ge good to see. His voice singing that would sound excellent

@ he does a incredible job with bridge and as far as LRB go, even though John wasn’t happy there he still gave it his all and you could see the enjoyment on his face and hear it in his voice in his performances. Cool change, reminiscing, just say that you love me, blind eyes, just to name a few were great songs with John there.

John hadn't found his power rock voice in 1969 yet, but once he did, wow, we were all in for a massive treat 😃👌👏👏. I remember reading about when John was fired from Little River Band, apparently the other band members weren't happy with how John sang the songs in his usual rock tone, they wanted him to be more sedate, I mean, as if that was going to happen 🙄😅😅.

Hi Ted. That first video he was about 17 He entered the world of music at 16 when he was named King of Pop in Australia and yes even wore a crown lol. His then manager became his abuser and at the time John didn't realise he was being drugged etc. This has come out in his release of his memoirs recently. So so angry about that pathetic man....he would drug him to sleep then put uppers in his drink before a performance. So sad. John thank God was a survivor and was able to take control of his life with the help of a best friend in Glen Wheatley who even morgaged his own home to help John get "You're The Voice" recorded etc. Oops sorry for long comments lol
@BluntTedTalksMusicАй бұрын
I think similar thing happened wirh the beatles when they played in germany in the early days very sad when greed takes over and allows people to abuse others for their own gains. Glad hohn managed to get away and do his own thing. Haha dont worry about long comment no need to apologise

@BluntTedTalksMusicАй бұрын
Sadly after doing reactions i gained an eye for telling who the fake and real reactors are and i feel a lot are faking it. Either bot really a fan of what they claim or they are but are watching the vids and writing notes before recording their first time reaction which is actual second or third time of watching. Those people get found out eventually or get bored because they not enjoying what they doing and fizzle out.

Many other things to compare and the age difference was kind of the point. Would be pointless comparing them a year apart.
