Still on my new Farnsey journey....this is incredible! The man can sing the blues! Two things about John Farnham I am struck with--he never misses a note, and you can feel how much he loves to sing, even at age 71. Absolutely an amazing singer.

One of my favourite songs. I saw Ray Charles at the Sydney stadium in 1967. Hit the Road Jack was the finale. The whole building was shaking !

Recently came across a quote from David Hirschfelder where he said this was the first time he played with John Farnham as part of the backing band (which was Kerrie Biddell's band) and realised that he really could sing anything he wanted to. This is absolutely glorious.

John is known in the U.S. But He aint a Big singing icon as he is in Many other parts of the World Most Americans Remember John Farnhams You're the Voice as it Charted on the Billboard Hot 100 In 1990 it became Number #82 And Stayed on the Chart for 8 Weeks (2 months) and it had Moderate Airplay on the Radio Stations and Major Radio Stations around The U.S. today Still play You're the Voice Because i have a Friend In NYC who says he turned his car On and It was Playing On the Radio So yeah You're the Voice is his MOST Well known Song in the U.S. but In America he's most known For his Song Two Strong Hearts which Became a Top 40 on the ADULT CONTEMPORARY chart in the U.S. it Charted at Number #38 This was Johns First and Only Solo Top 40 Hit in the U.S.
