Sorry im a day late to this party, had grandkids staying. As long as you're playing our Farnsey or Barnsey (Jimmy Barnes), or any Aussie talent for that matter, you can waffle on all you like. Our legends deserve to be rambled on about, because they're pure hard working talent, who got to where they are the hard Aussie way, through the iconic pub scene of the 70s , 80s and early 90s, where if you couldn't hold a tune, you didn't get asked back to perform again. I've been privileged to see Farnsey 17 times live, and was in the crowd of THIS concert ( It still to this day, is one of the best nights of my life) - this concert and his other show stopper The Main Event concert with Olivie Newton John and Anthony Warlow , were nights of magic beyond explanation. Please would you react to "John Farnham and Jimmy Barnes singing 'When something is wrong with my baby' at Hey Hey It's Saturday" - The guitarist in this is a musician in his own right "Johnny Diesel" who is also Jimmy Barnes brother in law, and another name to add to your rabbit burrow list please......Hey Hey It's Saturday was a general entertainment show that if you wanted the Aussie public to buy your records/cd's, you had to perform on "live" to let the Aussie public hear it first before it got anywhere else. It was the show that would make or break you as an artist back in the day. Thank you for acknowledging our much loved legends. Peace and hugs from Western Australia ☮🤗

When Queen were looking for a new lead singer, John Farnham was the first person they approached for the role. His talent is clearly up there with Mercury, Robert Plant and Steve Perry imo. Really enjoying your Farnsey journey keep up the great work. PS if you’re going to do other Aussie reacts, Cold Chisel is bigger here than INXS and AC/DC! It’s Jimmy Barnes band and other music reactors have suggested it’s one of the best bands they’ve ever seen.

I worked 6 years in the US, travelling from East to West Coast - North to South which included NYC, so no problems with your accent. I'll say this about NYC, you have the closest thing to an Aussie coffee, it was always a delight to have a coffee in NYC. You may ramble, but your being honest and you can hear your emotion in your voice, so ramblins OK. It is also nice that you have the performance as your main screen, instead of the opposite - thank you.

You need to do an reaction for You’re The Voice (1986 ) this song is John biggest hit . You’re The Voice with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra is the popular live version think was recorded live in 1988 Also 2009 live version with Coldplay at Sound Relief charity benefit concert is awesome and shows how strong and timeless You’re The Voice is with a attendance that properly wasn’t even born when it was released soak it up and sing it back to John . And there’s John’s 2003’s version live at Aria Awards the year John inducted into Australian Aria Hall Of Fame . John went all epic with this live performance You’re The Voice. You’re The Voice changed John Farnham’s beyond anyone’s dreams. This was so unexpected at the time for John which had to song appeal . The studio version was recorded on tight budget so was the music video because John didn’t have any money he was broke and did have any record company taking an interest in him . Right song at right time for John .

A friend of mine played cello in the orchestra in this performance. She (and the other players) loved every moment of it, and says he was such a great bloke too. I think this particular concert must have been the concert of s lifetime, even for him, because apparently the energy was other worldly. As an Australian, I can say that we have been listening to accents from America (and UK) for ever. I have no problem with your accent, although I never much cared for Fran Drescher's (from TV show "The Nanny") high-pitched nasal tones. But then, I'm not a fan of the English cockney one either. That's ok - vive la difference as the French say. The world is full of accents and different English dialects, that's what makes it interesting.

You found John. We all come with him. This song is where John was teaching the Beatles how to sing their song, not really, he is too nice to do that. In Australia he is family and so is anyone he calls family. You have more than 50 years of music and I don’t know a song that didn’t go to number one. He had number one hits in five consecutive decades. Michael Jackson couldn’t move him and John’s Whispering Jack album stayed at number one for over six months. I do know that so far there is not a genre he cannot sing. I watched an interview with Richard Marx last week.when he was young his Dad had a satellite dish so he used it for his radio. He ended up with an Australian radio station playing one of John’s songs and his mouth dropped open. He told us he had not had that reaction since seeing Elvis when he was a child so he went to every record store in LA. None had heard of him but one would order it for him. He became a huge fan of the Voice and he believes Sam Cooke had the best voice of all time but John was number one anywhere of living singers. It was odd to hear an American talking about John because most don’t know him and not back then. The next video which was some years later that I watched Richard Marx dropped by to play the piano for John. I already loved Richard and John is always amazed that someone famous comes to see him. Someone forgot to tell John how good he is and how much he is loved. Nothing beats John live on stage, if you can find him singing anything live then it is better than the studio version. He is a showman, couldn’t stand still to save his life and his microphone and stand could be anywhere, he usually catches them. This song he just did was an encore after more than two hours of that Voice, he always ends with asking us to be careful and he means driving home. You have much to choose from. I have never listened to Cold Chisel sing a full song because that band turns Jimmy Barnes into a screamer. Jimmy has a great voice so he doesn’t need to scream and maybe it was the songs I tried to listen to. You need to listen to John and Jimmy Barnes singing When Something Is Wrong With My Baby. Also John singing Led Zeppelin’s Black Dog. John never recorded it but someone did. You will only find a photo of him with that song. John used it as a sound check and warm up song. Thank you.

John puts 110% into every single performance. The amount of sweat that pours off the man is criminal. Girls would pass hankies to him to get a swipe of that sweat lol. Tom Jones got undies thrown at him...John got hankies, the odd girl jumping on stage to sneak a kiss, teddy bears, flowers, cards, and the odd pair of undies too 🤣

Great, just found you, and I'm in. Of course you shouldn't change anything you do, that's the point of reaction channels, it's you and your reaction. As soon as people start trying to pretend they like things, or be like someone else just to get views and subs, it becomes obvious and people will just leave. Be yourself, and you will find your true and loyal audience. I hope to see you enjoy some Aussie music, but will happily watch you react to other things also. ❤

Yes, please, talk away, I enjoy listening to what you have to say, it is very fresh. Love NY accent, loved my NY visit. Another great song from this concert is It's a Long Way to the Top (if you wanna rock'n'roll), cover of an ACDC song - fun and upbeat, the orchestra and the band are amazing and the energy from everyone on stage is incredible. I really enjoy hearing the songs from the artists and bands of my youth, can listen to John anytime, and there are talented artists today as well. Current Aussies with amazing voices are Guy Sebastian (won Aust Idol in 2003 and has been a judge on The Voice for the last few years) Believer, I'm Standing With You, Battle Scars; Jess Mauboy (another judge on The Voice) Little Things, and Delta Goodrem, especially her duet of Silent Night with (blind) indigenous artist Geoffrey Gurrumul.

Mate thanks for reacting to Farnsie. He is a dead set legend down here. Another incredible artist you should react to is Morissette Armon. She is Filipino and has the best female voice I have ever heard. Like Farnsie you only listen to her live. She is so popular in Asia your channel will explode if you react to her. Good luck with your channel

The reason for the strike was that you called the band AC/DC… We all called them AccaDacca… 😂

What I like most about your reaction video is that you don't stop & start the song, coz I hate that. And of course I love Farnham. Did you review him doing When the War is Over? If not do it. You won't be dissapointed. And yep I just subscribed to your channel. Another great Aussie singer is Matt Corby. Listen to him singing his own original "Brother" It's a mindblower! L.

Another 👏 and 👍from me! NY accent is fine - how boring the world would be if we all sounded the same. Rambling is fine. I want to hear what you think. Would prefer it's after the video rather than frequent interruptions. Yes, this concert was an amazing concert. Would recommend his signature song "You're the Voice" from this concert (kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJ6VnpJvis6dqdE). His best known internationally (especially Europe) and has since been covered by many. As you go down the Farnsey rabbit hole, keep in mind live performances are best. You will pick up on his personality which adds to his performances. You mention AC/DC - he also does an AC/DC cover in this concert. In relation to other Oz music, there is lots of course but I would mention Cold Chisel and their lead vocalist Jimmy Barnes. Another legend of the Oz rock scene and from the same generation as Farnsey. Look out for Farnsey and Barnsey performing "When Something is Wrong with my Baby" together.

Yes, this particular rabbit hole is very deep, but also includes the rabbit hole of Jimmy Barnes..... which in itself is deep and includes another deep rabbit hole named Cold Chisel. lol All live John Farnham is GOLD.... even the 3 different videos of Gethsemone I have seen. Anything with the MSO ( Melbourne Symphony Orchestra ) is double platinum. But I do suggest you sample John with Jimmy Barnes doing a cover of When Something is Wrong by Sam n Dave. Official video is great but the live version from Hey Hey it’s Saturday is better.

Loove your accent mate lol...... all we Aussies want, is recognition of our outstanding and frankly world class musical talent.... we are just a long way from the rest of the world and also Aussie artists don't like the 'managed by companies shit' lol..... also no auto-tune, if you can't sing live in a pub... you don't make it in Australia.... hence why so many so called 'International Singers'... don't come to Australia... coz seriously, we'll fucking boo you if you can't sing live or act like a Diva......
