Our wonderful John Farnham is adored here in Oz. I have been lucky enough to have seen John live many times over the years - he is truly amazing.

Woo hoo! Here we go. My favourite part was when the the Guitarist and then orchestral Strings section doing a little duel. So much fun❤❤❤

They were all having so much fun. I think this was his 3rd encore! Brett Garsed was playing with his teeth. What more can we say? John is so well known for his respect for his band and they all pitch in to make it so much better. The keytar/keyboard player is a world renowned music director and has been nominated for Grammy awards. After the next few I've sent you I'll slow it down with some Ballard's. Good to hear you laugh Fellipe 😂❤ I actually have got one of John having some fun conducting - I'll dig that out for you. 🎉❤

1st encore, touch of paradise and Help. 2nd encore, Sadie and and It's a long way to the top. This one actually closed the show. So much energy for the end of a 2 hr plus concert.

Nor can I 😃😃😃😃😃 John, his band and the MSO. I think this should be seen by the young ones today so they can learn from a true performer and vocalist. ❤ I do think Guy Sebastian, Jessica Maubouy. Delta Goodrem and others like Conrad Sewell have been influenced the right way by our Aussie icons. Go Aussies 🥰😍🤩

The guy on keyboards is David Hirschfelder who went on to be nominated for Academy Award twice for his scores of the movies Shine and Cate Blanchett’s Elizabeth. Everyone on that stage is the top in their fields.

Remember that all the people in the Orchestra grew up with ACDC and John Farnham. They would have been 'High as a Kite' being involved in this performance ! Just look at the Conductor ! Absolutely rapped !

Love your reactions to our Greatly talented John Farnham...The original version of this song by AC/DC with Bon Scott lead singer is a great video to react to, the band are playing on the back of a low loader truck through the streets of Melbourne and includes bagpipes...I highly recommend you react to it.

Oh it is? What’s it listed under ? I saw there were 17 songs from the concert on one channel, but that isn’t the full concert. I was planning to put every song up after I remastered You’re the Voice but then the next one I remastered from this DVD got blocked so I haven’t gone back and done any more lol. Most of the stuff from this concert on YT is pretty poor quality so I was looking forward to putting my 4K versions up 😂 I’m happy to provide them with a full HD version of the concert if they get in touch with me. Always happy to help out.

@@dondelbiondo1258 seems I have it? not sure I understand .. I haven't put the concert on my channel. There is only one channel I can find that has almost the full concert, but there are songs missing from that and as I said the quality isn't the greatest. That specific channel also has parts of songs missing.

@@Dr_KAP Hi Kappy. Did you have any luck finding the full concert? I've just had a Farnsey hour - what a way to start the day. I've watched the earlier days video of Long Tall Sally. Imagine what a John Farnham rock concert would have been like. Never too old to learn -, I was never a Beatles devotee but through John's version of Help I've come to appreciate their song writing more. July'24. UK. E ❤

The sound engineer recorded the song- the brilliant Doug Brady. He had one of Australia’s first mobile recording studios. It was mastered by him and Ross Fraser on a Fairlight MFX3 (Digital Audio Workstation). At the time this was brand new technology and handled 24 audio tracks, hence the superb quality of the recording !

Keytar - not part of the orchestra. David Hirschfelder was John's original keyboard player., he arranged much of John's music. And I see there is a post detailing his musical pedigree. July'24. UK. E❤

Its the same MSO concert that he sang Help and You're the Voice and many other songs on. They have just separated them on youtube. As for AC/DC they were evil satanic and their songs have demonic spell casting in them so I never listen to their versions. Ironically there is a concert they did with a huge audience, some fans wearing red devil horns ironically and they do Thunderstruck (Live at River Plate). Still it is all bad coming from them.

Oh are you referring to the song Highway to Hell? The song is honestly about a highway. The Canning Highway in Western Australia. Bon lived in WA, in Fremantle and Bon and the group would travel thousands of miles from the east coast of Australia to the west coast, the last part of the journey was on the Highway, The Canning Highway, from Perth to Fremantle. People overseas assumed it was about hell etc, but even Christians know it’s a terribly long unpleasant, heck or hell of a distance to travel. From Sydney to Fremantle by car, which is how they travelled in the early days is is 3954.7 km or 2457.337 miles. They’ve had for years The Canning Highway AC/DC concert. Many have misunderstood the meaning of the Canning Highway (to hell) & have assumed things. Australians know the truth & if u watch old interviews of the band they talk about the long arduous trip.

@@bernadettelanders7306 The group were playing at a time when conservative Christians were on the upswing and went on a crusade against rock as immoral. AC/DC were prime targets because a few of their songs had hell in the lyrics/titles. They and their fans leant into it as a parody - devil horns etc. I believe this is her reference for the comment.

@@Bellas1717 I read they said Evil and or Satanic, thus my explanation. A Quick Look, I could only find one acdc song with hell in title and - so far - haven’t yet come across any in lyrics. I was never a huge acdc fan, only recently liked some songs, but enjoy Angus’s interviews. A quiet gentle funny man, who doesn’t drink alcohol, always likes his cup of tea lol.

I am referring to their part in the demonic Hollywood music industry and it's connection with Molloch, a deity also known as Lucifer.
