Yes both John and Jimmy had very difficult years early on as our then radio stations etc would not play any Aussie music as their sponsors etc were overseas owned etc and unless you had big money you had to do it the hard way which is what they both did and their grass roots fans supported them at their shows etc. Once we began to have independent 'Aussie' record labels they finally were accepted. Love your channel guys and your analysis of the performance....

The duet was recorded on Jimmys Soul Deep Album. They did number of performances together on various Tv shows, concerts and events to promote the album. After that during Jimmy's regular tours, either Deisel or sometimes Jimmy's Daughter would sing the duet with Jimmy. Which is why Deisel sings along ❤❤

It's not the first time Jimmy has had open heart surgery ... we breed them tough in Australia !! Jimmy was a member of the Aussie group Cold Chisel and Diesel had his own band Johnny Diesel and the Injectors, among others.... both are seriously worth a look for sure !! John and Jimmy have been friends for decades... and even though they often were competing in the charts, never missed an opportunity to perform together... the respect between these guys is huge... maybe it's because we're remote here in Australia and we don't have a huge population, we look out for each other and our musicians are the same.... never seen or heard any jealous moments between any of them... but have seen lots of times when they've been very supportive of each other... Jack is another name for John...also, Johnny Diesels real name is Mark Lizotte... Diesel is just his stage name...Another great reaction guys ! Thank you ....

Deezel is a performer in his own right, has his own band, Jimmy and Deizel are family, so they are there for eachotheeach other. You can find video of Deizel performing with Jimmy's daughter. Jimmy is short for James.
