Absolutely..when I saw John sing that night live at firefight, I thought, he doesn't look well, hope it won't be his last. And I was so happy to get to see Olivia sing too on stage that night. Two Aussie legends.. My daughter is named Olivia, and she was named after ONJ. My daughter is also a great singer too and it just made my day when I saw her sing that day at firefight..I was way in back on the floor. I am so grateful to have maybe seen both their last performances..

Such a special performance we need to value and to keep as a memory, as we did not know what was ahead of us all - only one month later we all went into lockdown, then Olivia passed and John got ill in 2022. They both showed their absolute lifelong skills in this performance as usual. SO SO special indeed.

This was absolutely brilliant live. Like, we all KNEW he'd end with You're the Voice, but that second Brian May flashed up on the screen, I'm pretty sure I just screamed non-stop for like a minute. A bunch of guys standing near me were in full meltdown: OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! over and over again, it was so great. And then the crowd singing to Mitch Tambo, two languages, one meaning, it was wonderful. And when the firies came out. Oh my god. I can't believe it's been a week already. I'll never forget that night.

Absolutely amazing performance. I've just watched a clip of him from 1994 and there's no difference in his vocal ability. If anything I recon he is even better now which is unbelievable as many vocalists his age lower the key on their songs to suit their voices.

John Farnham is now an Australian institution. He was born in England (Dagenham, specifically), but chose this particular colony to be at peace. His soaring voice can only be compared to Julie Anthony (royal honours - AM, OBE) singing Australia's National Anthem. You are The Voice John - you always and forever will be.
