We’ve been listening to John Farnham here in Australia since he was 18. He’s in his 70s now and only stopped because of our Covid gathering laws. John was in Little River Band for a while and sang in a few American teenager Movie soundtracks, one was called RAD, can’t remember the other. Was Ice a song in USA movie RAD? . This song was in Movie, I’ve personally never seen movie in Aus, ‘Thunder In Your Heart’ from RAD kzbin.info/www/bejne/sH-5i62OnLKXjtU

He did sing a country style song. A Simple Life. Well, it had horses and a barn in it. 😂 John doing songs like this are my favourite Farnsy performances. And when you see the crowds he was pulling it's unfathomable that his career, at one time tanked so badly he had to sell his house. Thank God that he came back and blessed us all with his gift. John did actually do a country song. John Farnham - Talk of the Town Live

How can you dislike Farnsie. Got a request or 10... give Archie Roach's "Walking Into Doors" a go... not his best known but hits me in the feels every time. Archie's biggest hit (so far) is Took The Children Away This fella was named Aussie of the year in 2020 and he is an elder all Aussies can learn from. For a completely original reaction video you could do Archie's Took The Children Away and compare it with a reaction to Briggs' skip hop response, The Children Came Back. For some context, Archie's is his story of being part of the stollen generation and Briggs' is a celebration of life and identity. Both are powerful and beautiful and important parts of tge Aussie tapestry. Oh you want some Aussie Blues....check out The Waifs Crazy Train (live is best).
