You guys will soon see why, for decades now, John has been reverently known as "The Voice" in this country. Mister personality. A true gentleman of the industry.

Most humble guy you will ever meet. Should check out his concert with Melbourne symphony orchestra and his songs “playing to win” and Help
@georgeibrahim79452 жыл бұрын
A killer performance is John singing a Beatles song called “help” live with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra
@785boats2 жыл бұрын
An absolute "must watch' performance., eh George.
@theghost64122 жыл бұрын
and the Help from this concert is best because he starts off with the beetles classic tempo, then changes into his remix.

No big screen, no dancers, just great musicians and a great performer who can sing anything. You two are a lovely couple and it shows. Keep more John coming.

The background singer in the red shirt is Jack Jones from Southern Sons. They are well worth a listen to as well (Hold me in your arms) and in a style very similar to John Farnham. As for John Farnham, 'Burn For You' is a must and one of his earlier songs of 'Reminicing' with Little River Band is awesome.

Join the rest of us Angie, we all fell in love with John a long time ago lol. What's not to love? 🤣 John just spreads the love for all to share. He's an absolute treasure. I enjoyed your reaction, thanks. You need to do "Help" with Melbourne Symphony orchestra next.

John has only ever seen his wife Jilly. He is going on 73 and he still calls her the bride. He is a mix of kindness, happiness and the Energiser Bunny. His first number one was in 1967 when he was 18. He is a legend and called The Voice. I saw him sing before Covid at 70, he sounded just like that. As someone below me said, you need to hear him sing his version of Help with The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Listen to that voice and it shows you more of who John is. Thank you.

Australia and NZ had it’s own scene for so long. So many great acts and bands never made it internationally that should have. Shows you how much power record exces had. It is great to see so many people world wide enjoying some of the music today that has been with us for so long in our lives.

Exactly right Annelies. "You're The Voice" became a second anthem here in Australia. Great times.
@anneliespeters53552 жыл бұрын
@@785boats Didn’t know that! I’me from the Netherlands and John Farnham isn’t wellknown here but this song allways stuck to me because of the powerfull message and how it was sung by John, I do love his voice! It’s kinda of crazy how his music has come on my path again through Rollen and Angie. Universe sure can work in mysterious ways! Greetings from the Netherlands 👋😁🤘🕊
@785boats2 жыл бұрын
@@anneliespeters5355 Hi Annelies. I meant that in an unofficial way. It was just that everybody new the song, and sang the song. It was all over the radio channels for a long time. On the TV. Played in pubs & clubs etc. If someone played it on the Juke Box, everyone would sing along with it. That type of anthem. Cheers.

AMAZING !!! As John's performances always are, he is the most genuine, kindest and humble person you could ever wish to meet, happy to have a chat and shake your hand. You may not be aware that his manager and very close friend Glenn Wheatley passed away in February from complications to COVID he was 74, John and his family are devisated to his passing and Glenn's family are also trying to come to terms to his passing. I'm hoping we will see and hear John on stage again in the future, time will tell. Loved watching your reaction to our John's performance. Keep on checking him out. 🦘🇦🇺🐨🦘🇦🇺🐨🦘🇦🇺🐨

Please also watch John's rendition of Little River Band's "Reminiscing" and also covering "Bridge over troubled water" when he was quite young, and Black Dog (a soundcheck that was taped) to see how he can sing any genre.
