John Fogerty - Proud Mary (Live at Farm Aid 1997)

John Fogerty performs "Proud Mary" live at the Farm Aid concert in Tinley Park, Illinois on October 4, 1997. Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.

True Story...My Mom had a Boyfriend that worked on the River...I was about 3 or 4, Mother and we lived in a second story apartment. When he would come back from being on the river for 30 days I would sing him this song as he got out of his car, from the second story window. He remained my friend until he passed.

Went to santa monica county bowl to see him before the live album came out. He was on 🔥. I went to ticketron to buy genesis tickets but they were sold out so i bought the tickets for the unknown PF on a whim. We went and it was a great day.
