Hey guys I've changed the title from "John frusciante being a guitar God for 3 minutes and 33 seconds" To "John frusciante being a great guitarist for 3 minutes and 33 seconds" and watching the video back I Realized I definetly did not add the best clips but my favourite clips so yeah I see why people hate the title I will make an updates version with his greatest moments so please no more hate comments about the title :)

Its yours. Dont worry what people think about your title. Own that. I dig it. If we changed our lives because of hate from others, that individuality that you see in Frusciante for example that inspires will cease to exist. Do you friend. You have my support. 👍

The reason it sounds familiar is because it's very similar to "Can't You See" by The Allman Bros.. go listen to that songs intro 👍🏻... like at the end of "give it away" John gives away the song he stole and modified his riff from. Listen till the ending/outro .. its there.

Hendrix was definately a major influence with John. He mentions him in almost every interview. His playing reference is Hendrix. He has learned guitar through hendrix. He is waaay underrated. I believe his playing is on par with Hendrix, his idol. Or even better in some cases. He absorbed all that before he became a rock god at 17.

I mean if we're being real he is underrated. yes he is in one of the biggest bands in the world And he is known but if you break it down when do you hear John Frusciante Is as good As slash or srv or eric johson.you don't but he has made some of the best music of the 80s 90s And 2000s I'm not saying people don't rate him but whenever I ask people who's a good guitarist I have never heard anyone say John frusciante it's always Jimi Hendrix Eric Clapton and slash And that's it he is definetly underrated and that's a fact :)
@ludomirsteinbruck9376
@ludomirsteinbruck9376 2 жыл бұрын
John Frusciante is a guitar artist and he has a special connection to his guitar, he adapted many influences and certainly created a kind of uniqueness to his play. A mixture between Eddie van Halen and Hendrix maybe. What he and Hendrix have in common is a rawness with the guitar, which is a quality other accomplished players are lacking. But Hendrix took guitar play to another level artisticly, he practicly reinvented guitar play. Whereas Frusciante fall back to flashy manouvers and relativly simple funky/punky licks, Hendrix had many more expressions and variety to off, just much, much more to say on the guitar generally. He did things on the guitar that no one is able to truly recreate, whereas Frusciante licks are fairly easy to handle.

There's a very realistic aspect to John's playing. Not too polished. I always respect players who have that trait in their playing, like Hendrix or page. A very classic rock vibe 🤘🤘

John is clearly one of my favorite guitarists,and every member of the band represents their part perfectly. So when someone leaves (guitarists) it kind of ruins the chemistry of the RHCP,,i hope they keep giving us their beautiful music for many years to come.

The Yokohama jam was great. I wish John did more freestyle jams. His tone is so damn good. I saw RHCP 2 times. First time was lollapalooza back in 1993. Pat Smear had to step in for John due to the heroin problem. Then i saw them in 2002 and John was having an off night. He did jam a little bit but I play guitar too and could tell he was not in the groove. I won't say he was being lazy since i don't want to act like he owes me anything. The Empyrean solo cd has some gold on it. But i bet John just jamming with Flea for fun would top anything else. He could probably due a tribute to Jimi on his own that would blow our minds.

Yeah his jams are all amazing idk how he is so consistent with some jams and I hope to see rhcp soon especially when the new album comes out and yeah the empyrean album is Just Great and yeah I would love to see a tribute to Jimi :)

I meant no disrespect for JF his playing is great . It maybe that i was around when Jimmy Hendrix was on the earth and his approach wasn't like anyone else . He wasn't emulating other guitarist , his genius came from within like many of the 60's musicians . Analog baby before digital !

@@joshuacobb3923 Yes, the way the whole band started soft and built the intensity is incredible. John's guitar tone was amazing when he kicked in the distortion. Then to top it all off he sings notes so high and powerful, it's incredible and very soulful.
