I LOVE John during this period. He's just so happy to be alive and well that he's even excited to do interviews.

I know what he's talking about with those films. I get that same feeling of knowing it'll be alright because I still reached that moment in my life, I have this one image of a farmhouse at night and the air is clear and warm, like a beautiful summer night. I can't wait for that night to come because not only can I see the scene, but the feeling that goes along with it is so happy. Anyway that's an example of a film I've seen, there's been others but I can't think of any at the moment. Does anyone else have images?

alexcordina I have this image where I’m sitting on a cliff that hangs over the ocean with a little highway behind me on the coast of California. And the sun is just going past the horizon and I’m sitting there with my guitar and I make the most beautiful song on my guitar while I watch the stars come out and when the song is over I can see the whole Milky Way lighting up the ocean. I know these kinds of things will happen in my life and I want to time travel just so I can be there in that moment. I have so many others with country hills here in southern Canada and I’m standing in the field listening to the wind howl and those types of films give me shivers down my spine.

I have the exact same, after watching this for the second time last night I fully reached John on his level. I have had these films from a very young age, but they are becoming more frequent now. I used to see it as something that made me different and strange, but now I see only a few of us have them so vividly it makes me proud to be one.

I have had these things too. That's why John is my favourite artist. He made me feel normal. I had a creative drive inside me, and if I let it lead me, I always succeed. If I listen to the inner voice, it will always lead me to the right place. I see music as shapes and images, I feel it as if it lives inside my body, I inherently am drawn to creative expression as another language and another dimension. I call it creative spirit. When I create and I'm aligned with creative spirit I make magic and feel like I'm touching the divine. I sound crazy but the more I spend time researching art and artists the more I notice them speaking of the same thing. I'm going through a period where I'm disconnected spiritually and I haven't been creating. I can't wait to get it back and let it lead me again ❤

I find it pretty funny that so many of us are trying to enhance our ability to lucid dream, as opposed to becoming lucid while we're in our waking dream. I can't believe we spend a third of our life in sleep and dreaming, it's pretty stellar.

To my understanding, we often enter Hyperspace when we're dreaming.. which is a 5th dimensional aspect of human cognition, where Time is experienced as simultaneous instead of linear (like when were awake). I'm fascinated by some of these ideas.. many of which John relates lyrically.

I've had this too. Little films of future moments flashing in your head. Since I was about 6. Also, dreams where future moments show themselves to you. Then they happen in waking life. You get simple cues or triggers in your environment that make you aware.. and remember that you dreamed it before. It's not schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is incoherence in memory recollection. This is the opposite. This is the bi-product of full sensory perception. I've met lots of other sane people who have it.

Hes the only artist in the history of ever that speaks of music and art like i do. He always gives credit to the force beyond and not to himself. I feel that. He lets creative spirit speak, rather than forcing and bending it to his will. He is at its will. Buffalo 66 is my favourite movie of all time. I only found out a few days ago that John did the soundtrack for Brown Bunny and that he and Vincent were close during this time. Id listened to johns tracks from the movie, not knowing they were from the movie. I had no idea until watching this video that John was such a fan of Buffalo 66'. It makes sense, my taste is obviously very specific 😂

Interesting. John is describing something more akin to Déjà vu. What I'm describing is completely different contextually, specifically because it's experientially related to some sort of non-linear interplay happening between waking and dream states. I wish I knew what the term was for that experience...

Yeah Oscar :) Haha..I was bored, what can I say ? I guess the other reason I felt so free to post on it is partly because my friend Ellie posted this interview, and also awhile ago someone posted a response to my initial first comment. A response that I appreciated and found constructive. It made me think about my previous thought/comment in a new way. So yeah. Evolution happened and I just felt like sharing. So, here's to comment # 6 ? Not sure.. I don't count comments, I just appreciate :)
