Dr Grang is not dead, who said that. John is alive and alive for ever.John Grang is not flesh and blood.John Grang is a book of principles, leadership and patriotism. The guidelines and concepts of this wonderful book has gone deep into the brains of ordinary people of sudan.Human body is on its way to extinction sooner or later, what remain alive and never die are the ideas and principles. Great point. I don't know if it would have been a first world country, but maybe somewhere in the middle. Because Sudan is so behind ideologically; most people way of thinking is retrospective. Development is mainly based on new and fresh ideas; not old fashion ones.

The vision as-sudan al jadeed was made impossible by the NCP. That's the lesson of the war. You purport that we lost the war, in one case that is true: The vision was never achieved, but that is on you. Over the 50 years we understood that a peaceful al mutahidat as sudan would be impossible. We cut our losses as the injured cuts off the limb and ceded from the Arab. It was never our goal, but rather a concession. You had 50 years to choose unity - remove Nimeiri, remove Bashir. You did not.

Please, DO NOT MAKE senseless post on this page unless you know John Garang de Babior Atem. He died for South Sudan to be free. How free are we, my people? My people, if you use your Basic God given instincts, plus what your mother teaches you at home, you could make a South Sudan president in 2065. It may seem long when you look at it but a good woman wit great focus has a chance.

Garang vision will be achieved whether sudan remain united or separate. The basic idea of freedom for everyone will be achieved."Not everyone is an Arab nor is everyone muslim." Claiming sudan to be an Arab country is like saying that sudan will be A Darfur country,"Dolla furrawiya." LOL.

let me remind you that the whole oil of sudan was divided 50/50 between NCP and SPLA. by 2011, SPLA took away 75% of the oil. the gap in the economy created by south sudan was 3-4 $ billion. today, we covered $2.5 billion of that already, the rest will be covered by 2014 :) your talking about coups? how about the number of coup plots in south sudan lol? how about the worst health crisis in the world, highest illiterate rate in the world? over 60% depending on food aid? all in south sudan lol

technically speaking, there is no more war in west sudan :) rebels have gone very weak , we barely hear anything from them and most of what they say is lies! even their leaders have moved to Kampala + only nuba mountains has rebels but they are no different to Yau Yau rebels of south sudan! yes, you also have rebelions in south sudan! no because in cattle raiding thousands of south sudanese died, far more than rebellion in sudan!

These are not the SPLA soldiers bro Akoon Tong those are the prisoners of war that were captured by the SPLA in Yei, Tonj, Rumbek and the other places that SPLA conducted operation all along in 1997. He was speaking to them in Yei Military Barack and the people whom were beside him are those of Yusif Kuw Marki. The speech of our late great leader has impressed them and if the leadership of the SPLA tells them to go now i think they can't expect because the description made by Dr. John is very clear in which they found themselves guilty and they were been brought to South Sudan by the notorious regime in Khartoum to come and died for no reasonable issue if we go into the realities.
