On top of that, according to Gravano, he was asked to take the fall in Gotti's place, and claim that he was acting on his own on all them murders. This cannot be verified but it is very likely that it went down like this. Imo its sufficient to argue where Gravano's motivation to turn springs form.

Ironically, Sammy was looking at 30 years (based on the federal prosecutor), he ratted, did a few years and about 10 years after he got sentenced to 20 years. He didn’t really save himself anything, he really ratted for no reason.

Listen to Sammy's podcast. There are 2 sides to this story. Gotti betrayed Sammy in Sammy's eyes because he wanted to offer up Sammy so Gotti could go free. Which you could also see as a rat move. The stupidity that Gotti had was his downfall. I can't respect an idiot. I don't respect Sammy either but John's leadership got them all busted. If John had kept things on the down low like true Cosa Nostra, his reign would have lasted longer.

Impossible. It was a RICO case. Gotti was pissed his own son took a plea deal. He wanted him to go to trial. If you look up how RICO cases work you’ll easily see through sammy’s lies.
