A very perceptive and intelligent man. I haven't read too much of his prose, but there's no question he's a unique talent.

John Grisham you are great person and great autor. You know that already. But I had to say that. The stories about the law and attorneys always intrigued me. And you are fulfilling my taste with your books. Thank you from Poland. I lived in Chicago for 33 years. I'm reading The Firm now and it's so cool because I know the city and suburbs. Thank you for your books John Grisham.

I like very much John Grishan´s books. As a Brazilian lawyer I realize that his books are able to give us a notion about how different are both countries in terms of practicing the law. Regards from Brazil and merry Christmas!

One of my favorite authors. His books and movies helped me appreciate that lawyers could be heroes and monsters while I navigated law school and my early years of practice.

grisham seems like such a great guy. wish there were more people like him in the world. as for the books, i am almost through with “the firm.” the prose is a bit dry for me (understatement 😬), but you could tell there was a lot of heavy-lifting involved by the facts that substantiate it. probably reading “a time to kill” next, given the current climate.

Watched the whole interview waiting for the inspiration behind The Pelican Brief. At 14:30 he begins the answer and is immediatly interrupted , leaving the question unanswered. What a waste of time, for God's sake!!! This was awful even by Charlie Rose's standards. Thanks for the video anyways :'(

I have ZERO clue how Charlie Rose 'made it,' because he is the single worst interviewer ever. Incessantly talks over his guests, tries to finish their thoughts for them, and now we know what a creeper he was as a powerful media personality.

I have read all his books just about and I have to say both the Firm and The Pelican Brief were both pretty crud. The move of the Firm was super so I am glad that he never did the screen play because they did such a great job of it. His other books are much better than both.
