Thank you for this. My grandfather was a hobo in the great depression, as I am now a hobo in this mighty recession. We as a people need to know the hardship that us hobos face when the country is prospering. Please everyone that reads this, dont work and be lazy so we can once again prevail.

I didn't realize hobo's were actually super humans capable of summoning giant dust storms and then ascending to the stars...Shenanigans, I say.
@mikesherline54339 жыл бұрын
+Blue Money Why do you type "hobo's"? Since you're not referring to something that belongs to a hobo, it doesn't make sense. You didn't realize hobo's WHAT were super humans? Hobo's arms? Hobo's legs? Hobo's offspring? Or possibly you were referring to the plural of hobo, which would be hobos - that would make sense.

@Yosef9438 Hobo isn't an offensive term, it just describes 'wandering workers'. as opposed to tramps or bums who don't work/work when forced to.
@alice09294814 жыл бұрын
@Yosef9438 I wan't aware that "hobo" was a bad term. I'd be interested in hearing the reason, and whether or not it's the general feeling among hobos or simply your opinion. I found quite a bit of information on the internet to use in my classroom, such as hobo signs, and none of the sites used any other term. The kids are very fascinated in this lesson, and I would be happy to let them know if the label is considered offensive by hobos.
