I love this show- did my DNA 2x and discovered there's more Irish than I grew up believing and less Portuguese. Bit of a surprise that last. Family DNA also led me to a cousin who's the possible descendant of my uncle, outside of marriage. Convoluted stories all over the place.

have been researching many years and on numerous occasions have come across a juicy details of family history. Almost without exception, when I have asked older generations if they knew of these details, they reluctantly admit they did. I always find that amusing...protecting the "honor" of long dead kin ha ha.
