London Pieces is a set of three pieces for piano solo composed in 1917-20 by John Ireland. A performance of all three pieces takes about 11½ minutes. Their titles are:
1.Chelsea Reach
2.Ragamuffin
3.Soho Forenoons
Chelsea is an affluent area in central London, bounded to the south by the River Thames. A reach is (among other things) a stretch of water. Chelsea Reach is the portion of the River Thames by Chelsea.
A ragamuffin is a street urchin.
Soho is an area of the City of Westminster, and part of London's West End. The forenoon is the morning.

Some players play this including 'Month's Mind (1935)' , but it's not correct.

Ireland's wrote very fine music- romantic, virtuosic, cinematic at times, and substantial although may not have been innovatove in his time. Along with the music of York Bowen I would regard him as English 'Rachmaninov'. In this I can certain hear the influence of French music such as Debussy. The playing is fantastic, bravo.
