When Audubon went hunting for birds he would kill 30 or 40 a day! Uhmm? Bummer, but apparently proper for what he hoped to do!

horrible man, one of the worst bird killers ever. If you go to the house in the Florida Keys, there is a building outside which was made into a workroom wherein hangs a bloodstained dead flamingo. He considered that there were so many, he was perfectly entitled to kill over a million of them. His work is actually wooden, and uninspiring to me. Wiring dead birds into the most unnatural poses ever, so they could be squashed onto the paper gave a really false perspective. He shot birds for fun, thinking he was clever and a great shot. Ugh, ghastly man, I hope he's in bird hell, being pecked for eternity....
