Strictly this year was a good representation of 2021 a bit disjointed and didn’t go exactly to plan, but these two have been shining stars! Seeing John’s journey from the beginning, he is such an inspiration to not only the LGBTQ community but all the people who have felt like outsiders their whole life. I have enjoyed every single one of their dances and for me it didn’t matter they didn’t win just to see them in the final was enough! Well done Rose and thank you John ❤️

Oh, boys. What a celebration! From the girls being unfairly cut off before they could get started due to Covid, to the boys smashing it every week until they get to the finals. They are truly an inspiration to the LGBTQ youth and to everyone. And this embodies their whole mantra: They are here to enjoy themselves, do their best and be themselves. And god, I'm so happy for Johannes. He has blossomed this year because he was able to be his truest, most beautiful gay self. He is unshackled. He is free. He can authentically show every real emotion needed for each dance. The Rumba was phenomenal thanks to this. He really isn't holding back. He is happy and he is free. We aren't just seeing his camp, gay stereotype persona. We are seeing into his true soul. They would be worthy winners. Not just because they are two boys, but because they are John Waite and Johannes Radebe. Two amazing dancers who have brought you amazings such as the Paso, the Argentine Tango, the Rumba... THIS!! It has been special to watch. They are a treat. They had fueled the flame that Nicola and Katya has sparked. 🔥

loved their show dance it was a celebration of their strictly journey and you could see how John had grown in confidence. John and Johnannes being in the final and although they didn't win the series they have won in so many ways. This series of strictly has been a stand out the first ever deaf celebrity to win, the first male couple to get to the final and be runners up . Johannes said that being partnered with John meant that he didn’t have to hold back because he has a partner that matches him in strength, and I think that’s a beautiful statement. Absolutely, they were better by far on the night. It was just a popularity contest in the end - Rose and Gio could've done anything, it didn't matter, and still would've won. And they seemed to be the only couple getting promotion leading up to the final... Disappointing

Yes I totally agree - Rose & Gio could’ve done absolutely any old codswallop on the night and they would’ve still won… so unfair as John and Johannes were by far the more talented couple. I also watch it for the dancing but unfortunately most viewers treat it as a popularity contest

What a way to end their strictly experience, this was just amazing, I loved the mix of dance and the contrary from quiet to loud and then back to quiet it was a celebration of love, pride and dance all at the same time it was so joyful, it was packed full of amazing dance content and lovely Ballroom and Latin steps it was so bright, energetic and full of life it was crazily amazing and yet the musicality and timing was still up to perfection, this was a Showdance to remember and will be one for the strictly history books. I think they challenged the norm and made two men dancing together something beautiful and powerful. Whilst the did this they showed dignity and courage, they never gave into the hate and gave us a close final. As many of the judges said it’s about time we caught up with the rest of the world!

10/10 OMG! I've sooo got the love! In my opinion, this was John's best dance alongside his Paso. He was in sync, he really went for it, he had perfect technique in the Argentine section, and he just had powerful movements overall! Also, this was so representative and I'm so happy they decided to do a showdance like this. This was the perfect dance to end the series off with. Well done John!!

I’m a dwts fan from California and I gotta say this show dance, in my opinion, is worthy of the GLITTERBALL trophy!!! Rose’s was beautiful but it looked like something that could have been done during a normal week. I just felt hers was a bit underwhelming. No disrespect. Anyway, I’m praying that John wins it all.
