Absolutely captivating! This may very well be the greatest performance I've seen on KZbin. The purity and soul of these blues is immeasurable! JLH & Ry Cooder are a perfect pair.

None better than Mr JLH... King of the Blues. So much soul. I once had a chance to catch JLH in 1968 at the Golden Bear in Berkeley. I didn't - much to my everlasting regret. Playing the blues and telling it like it is. You are looking at a genuine, authentic legend. Rest in Peace JLH.

Saw him in Vallejo, Ca. about a year earlier. Tables with whiskey and water. One of about ten white people with about 300 of my black brothers and sisters, a hell of a bluesman and a great person. John Lee Hooker was just bad ass...

I 'm getting tired of that over produced music the radio is sh!tting out , with those super busy bass lines and teenage lyrics that don't do anything but make you feel old, tired and out of the loop. Two of the the most unique blues guitarist, one hypnotic and raw the other sexy and tasty. Enjoy people , OUR SOUL DESERVES IT !!!!
