Join a town board. or Mentor a kid. or Call the Women's Shelter and see what they need this Christmas. or Run for local office. Hey, make sure your buddy has someplace to go for Thanksgiving Dinner and invite him over if he doesn't. It don't have to be a big thing. None of us can do everything, but all of us can do something.

I see this as Barack Obama's theme song. As corny as it sounds, I truly believe this. Now, I'm not old enough to vote. But I followed Obama's campaign since he announced his run. I felt something that I haven't felt in my whole life. Pride. Not just pride in the African American race (I'm half black/ half white also), but myself. Obama has proven that America can change and move forward. This song just defines that power that I feel as an American now. Obama says "Yes We Can". Yes We Did.
