Hearing Dara brought back memories of that terrible day. Dara & I were the morning drive anchors for The Source (NBC’s Young Adult Radio Network). Her Source-casts were at :15 past the hour. Mine were at :45. We both were stunned but like all the others in the NBC Radio Newsroom we remained totally professional. CD Jaco was doing live shots from both The Dakota and the Hospital. Wow didn’t know it happened, on December, 1980 was one of the greatest music groups of all time , tragedies can unfortunately happen anytime , anywhere wrong place, wrong time
