Refreshing to hear him talk affectionately about Magical Mystery Tour. He was generally pretty dismissive of the whole Beatle thing through the seventies, but he seems to have warmed to it again around Double Fantasy. Maybe he was just more guarded about it around journalists. Even George was said to have spoken about it with fondness in casual company.
