One minor missed opportunity, they should have used the front and back cover image for Yoko’s POB album for the blu ray disc that has all the sessions for her album, to better help distinguish the two discs

Mine arrived Friday the 23rd along with “The Who Sell Out” Super Deluxe box set. Both looked too big and immersive to be put off. I’ve heard the first discs from both sets and my head is spinning! It’s as though Christmas and my birthday flipped sideways on the calendar and landed at my feet! You did a great job with your video! Nice to have you back!

I have more than a few expensive hobbies and have been collecting the Beatles since I was in 7th grade. With 1300 Beatles discs in my collection, I've had to be selective in what I add. While I buy every new release, I haven't always bought the box sets (believe me-I have dozens of box sets of the Fabs). I did however, buy this and was thrilled. The way I saw it, the box set was about $80 more than the 2 CD version but has lots and lots of extras. The sound is simply superb. I'm running a pair of Hafler amps and Vandersteen 2Cs and its very damn impressive. I have a listening party this Friday witha buddy with a new set of Klipsch Cornwalls and its going to be fun. POB is perhaps the most confessional document released by any artist.

Looks like you got some crushes on the corners, personally - I think that sucks. I got mine from Amazon U.K. and it came inside a separate shipping box, packed with extra material! You ordered a replacement, but how can you guarantee it won’t be delivered exactly the same?

Amazon have been getting a bit sloppy with their packaging lately. My McCartney III LP was shipped in a plastic satchel with no other packaging around the LP. Suffice to say it was hardly in a pristine condition on arrival.

Awesome video Mike, i wrote a long message to your answer to my question regarding this upcoming video but the youtube app crashed and had i chosed instead to write directly here all over again :( The box set seems awesome, i dont like the cardboard presentation, it seems a lot better the 2000 edition presentation because it think the cds could get damaged and doesnt contribute to their preservation, the book seems awesome, do you have rhe book "who are the Plastic Ono Band?" that Yoko released? It like a prequel - sequel to the Imagine book that 3 editions: standard, collectors and collectors signed by Yoko, i think that for the beatles and Johns fans it seems worth the buy only the standard or collectors editions since the signed edition is heavily overpriced. Also do you have the classic albums documentary of POB? Between the 1988, 2000 and 2010 editions? Which one do you think its the best? Pleasr once you have absorbed all the music in this box set let us know your opinion and your thoughts of the sneak peek of Get Back and the probably upcoming All Things Must Pass Box Set, I hope you are ok in this complicated times the world is living, i send you the best greetings from Argentina Mike

Thank you so much for taking the time to write ... twice. I'm well enough in these "complicated times." The Lennon CDs from the signature box are all the cardboard style, similar to The Beatles '09 Stereo CD packaging. That Lennon signature box is like a fortress, so I don't fuss too much about the discs, but I'd take the ol' jewel cases if given a choice. I actually do not have a copy of the POB documentary.

I think the best existing package is the style of the ones Experience Hendrix uses wich combines external cardboard style with internal jewel style. You convinced me to buy the '09 box. I recently got it and it looks awesome. Maybe in the future i could get the Lennon box. Do you think its good idea if Yoko and Sean choose to do the above us only sky expansion of the give me some truth documentary but with the classic albums documentary of POB? It could gave it a worldwide mainstream release and let more people access to the story of the making of

Wish I could get the 2 LP, but it costs $70! I paid $30 for a limited edition 2 LP sky-blue pressing of Gimme Some Truth, so why the high price for a 2 LP of a standard release? I could understand $40 maybe, but $70? I'd rather pay $70 for the 1 LP MoFi pressing from the early 2000s. I might get the box set just for the goodies, but who knows? We'll just wait and see.

I have all the various releases. I like to have options, as it helps me focus in on albums I've heard so many times with fresh ears. I do think that the John Lennon Super Deluxe boxes are well done and I appreciate what you get with those box sets.
