@@steveedward7572 That story about John meeting Yoko at the Indica art gallery is not the first time they met. That's part of The Beatles myth or the "official version". You ought to read Cynthia Lennon's biography, she tells the story of how Yoko came into their lives. Paul actually met Yoko before John did as the Indica bookshop was owned by a friend of The Beatles, John Dunbar. John and Yoko did meet at The Indica gallery but it wasn't the first time. Be careful of how much of the "official Beatles narrative" you believe, a lot was made up. Mainly for the fans to help them keep their good boy image.

A lot of people don't like Lennon because he had a pretty bad attitude in early fame. But to me, he was a much calmer and pleasant person a couple of years before he was murdered. John should have rewritten his Will with Julian in mind. I'll never forgive Yoko for her treatment of Julian. So, so, wrong. I'm glad Sean reached out and he and Julian have hung out, and did a song? Sorry, i should have looked up first.

Of all the famous pop stars early deaths, John Lennon's is probably the most tragic. He was stalked, hunted and killed for his fame when he was still a relatively young man, was cleaning up many of the troubled aspects of his past and maturing as an individual, had a young son and a close relationship with his wife, loved his life and had so much more to give to the world. Had he been more wary and lived in an estate in the countryside with extensive security he would've lived but by living a relatively normal and open life in New York City he was an easy target. His accessibility to others cost him his life.

He was a deeply troubled and pressured man who projected a lot of his issues onto people around him, and later realized how messed up it was, and tried as hard as he could to fix it, still failing a couple of times along the way. So why is it that, now that he has been dead longer than he was alive, people _still_ ignorantly affirm that he never made any effort to change. Guy gave up the only thing he thought he was good at for a while to figure out what needed to be done, and never got a break for it until after he was killed.

That damn clip showing Lennon supposedly showing John saying that the Beatles were bigger than Jesus is just a part of a longer interview. He was making a statement about how the press had treated the Beatles in a ridiculous way that made it seem that the Beatles were more important to teens than Jesus. John was saying it in a very disapproving way. People who know that and still say that John said that as a Beatle statement are devious liars, so ignore them. That observation caused a lot of trouble for the Beatles and for good kids who owned their records and didn't want to participate in misguided Christian record burnings. "The man whose name we must never mention." - Paul McCartney So why did you mention it? Because that's the reason he did it. To have his name associated with John Lennon's name forever. And to have a jailhouse interview, with I forget whom... some bigtime woman interviewer went and talked to him for hours to put on her show. I remember wanting to spit on her for it. So never mention his name again. I was at the Dakota on the night that Lennon was shot. I went there for an all night vigil on December 8th, 1980. I left in the morning at rush hour. The two police officers seeing that John was in critical condition, picked him up, and carried him to the backseat of a police car. One police officer asked " Do you know who you are?". @@peterbennett2655 Jesus Christ did exist, Roman historian Tacitus in his Annals, written around AD 116. Tacitus briefly mentions that "Christus" (Jesus) was executed by Pontius Pilate during the reign of Tiberius. This passage confirms the basic historical fact that Jesus was a real person who was executed by the Roman authorities. I used to be Christian then agnostic/anti theist until I actually did research on Christianity/God. I am a Christian again, my beliefs never did align with Athiest views. You should do your own research instead of staying Agnostic and actually learning. Jesus is real, he just isn’t on Earth and hasn’t been here more than 2000 years. We have the Holy Spirit.

Working on a Lennon doc. There are many many theories. He said yes to the paramedic at the hospital and asked him “you know who you are” His final words to Yoko were “let’s go home because I want to see Sean before he goes to sleep’.” And some say his last words were “I’m shot” there isn’t an actual definitive answer but I believe his last words were “yes, I’m John Lennon” when asked by the paramedic.
